Current initiatives of ORP CF:

Arogya Seva Project:

ORP CF has been doing the Arogya Seva project from contributions from Sajjanas in the community. This started during COVID times where there was an acute need for Health Insurance for Acharyas and Temple Staff. It was started by Haridasa Chandrika organization, now merged under the family of ORP CF initiatives. For the last two years, we have been able to provide Health Insurance support for ~50 families in India (100+ adults/kids). We have an excellent Insurance support person Sri Krishne Gowda who has helped many Acharyas, Temple Staff with personal attention during emergencies. Future Plans:

We are seeking to scale the number of families from 50 to 100+ (covering 200-300 adults/kids) in order to address a critical need in the society. Such a scale will give us far better group insurance rates and features to Acharyas. We are planning to extend coverage of Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities in the future. Support for Artists:

ORP CF has supported artists during COVID and afterwards. ORP CF volunteers have arranged a number of concerts that helped artists during COVID. We had virtual concerts from various artists which included Sri. Anant Kulkarni, Smt. Divya Giridhar, Sri. Anantraj Mistry, Sri. Seshagiri Das, Sri. Narasimiha Nayak, Sri. Mysore Ramachandra Achar, Comedy King Sri. Pranesh Achar and many more.

Haridasa books and CDs:

ORP CF under the Haridasa Chandrika initiative has published a number of CDs, Biographies of saints, Scholarly publications in print and blog form (related to Bhagavadgita, Brahmasutras, Stotras, Harikathamrita Sara etc).

Bhagavad Gita Website:

ORP CF is working on a comprehensive and interactive Bhagavad Gita Website – to be launched later in 2024

Vidya Peetha Projects:

ORP CF has started plans to support two vidyapeetha projects one near Srirangapatna and one near Udupi. More details will be coming about these projects shortly.

Support for Haridasa movies:

ORP CF has been supporting the marketing and theater shows for Haridasa movies Sri Jagannatha dasaru, Sri Prasanna Venkata dasaru etc. It has also collected funds for the movies which really helped the movie production team. These movies preserve the Heritage and Literature of Haridasas. These movies will not make money. So these movies deserve our help to spread the message of Haridasas, preserve the heritage and make these kinds of spiritual movies.

ORP CF volunteers have created a strong social media presence for these movies and helped in marketing these movies in India and US.

Matrimonials Services:

ORP CF has been in discussions on creating Matrimonials services for the community with some volunteers. More details on this will be coming out soon.

Youth activities:

These are also under discussion.

ORP CF invites community members to give their thoughts and feedback on these projects. We always need volunteers as we seek to expand the scale of these activities and add more initiatives to help in these efforts.
