What is this ? 

This initiative is to enable health insurance for the needy

  1. Initial pilot is focusing on Temple Staff who do not have insurance coverage
  2. Insurance premium can be paid by beneficiary directly or thru crowd sourcing using our payment system
  3. We are looking to form a group policy to get benefits and discounts.
  4. Anyone interested can transition their existing policies to our group policy over ’22-23 by contacting our insurance agent (phone: +91 95918 10302)

How does this work?

  1. Haridasa Chandrika works with various insurance companies to get best group policy discounts and facilities such as coverage for exiting conditions, maternity coverage etc.
  2. Coverage includes Rs 4-6 Lakh coverage for ~Rs 15-20 thousand premium per family. Exact amount depends upon family size, age and pre-existing conditions. Detailed terms and conditions are here. Policy will be facilitated through our insurance agent.
  3. Beneficiary can pay premium partially or fully thru the payment links below either A) by themselves or B) by any of their contacts 
  4. For beneficiaries needing financial assistance, HDC will help in crowd sourcing effort to fill gaps and make final payment to insurance company. How much amount HDC can support depends upon donations received. 

Why should I work thru HDC?

HDC is working with insurance companies to get best discount as group policy.  HDC plans to add adequate coverage for Medical/Hospitalization needs, Accident coverage and Life insurance for the entire family.

How do I contribute to help others ?

Annual premiums run between Rs 10-20K, depending upon family size, age group etc. You can support one or more families thru donation to HDC.
